so, should i go for the gold hardware, or leave it black ?

djpharoah: the luthier said he just drilled over the old dot, searched for a rosewood with the same color for each dot, cutted it and glued... if you look closer, you can see the marks, but i dont care.. if i could stain it with black, it would be perfect.. shame Stewmac dont send this stuff to brazil.. should it work if i just use some alcohol (?) stain ?
