The dunlops are really decent strings. We're endorsed by dunlop and have had the strings around for about 5 months now.

They're nice in the fact that they're pre-stretched, so you can literally put them on, tune up, and they stay in tune. I didn't believe it but it worked.

They do have some kind of wierd coating, not like plastic like Elixers, but almost like an oil they dip them in. My skin has a bit of issues with it, but it's not a huge deal.

I actually like elixers better on my 7s, only because I hate changing strings on floyds, but I do use the dunlops on my strats.
