| Tapping on nylon strings.
At the moment, my sole guitar is my classical, in a vain attempt to force me to revise (it's failing miserably). I've just begun experimenting with some of the percussive and tapping techniques I use on the steel-string (thing Preston Reed, Kaki King and Michael Hedges) and wierdly, it works really well. It takes a lot more precision and finger-strength, but the tone really sings. Definitely something I'll pursue... |
