i agree with what mike said. the line6 cab will most likely sound better with the spider amp. line6's speakers (iforget what they are called) are generaly voiced with a flatter EQ response than most guitar speakers which helps alot of the models shine without some mid spike or other undesirable effect to make their models sound different than what they intended them to. this is also why some digital/modeling players prefer the flat response of a full range system like a PA or keyboard amp.

as for the 1960A- i have one, great all around cab, can't really go that wrong with one. and FWIW i dislike the 1960AVs (with vintage 30s) too middy and spiky sounding to me.
