I just recorded a band's demo where we used a Fireball and a Dual Recto. The Fireball sound powerful and brutal but lacks character (like a good PODxt tone for example), the Recto has such a nice mid crunch, that's really hard to beat. But I can imagine the Fireball suits your needs better. Of course, this is all very subjective.
