| Based on your description, mahogany with a thick maple cap and semi flat eq pickups or swamp ash with pickups that are dialed down eq-wise at the top end a bit.
Would also recommend maple or ebony fingerboard for the pick snap if you use mediumish sized fretwire. If jumbo then the fingerboard wont matter that much. Stainless Steel frets will also add to the snap. |
