Sorry but it's not that easy : there's no "BEST" wood, they just sound different not better or worse...

For a tight and articulate sound, I'd go for swamp ash, but it's very personnal...
Quality, construction, hardware, everything in a guitar change the sound a little bit, it's not just a question of wood.
