I'm just going to swap pickups (I know, I will have to get pickup rings to cover up the remaining space round the pup). We might just as well swap guitars but I know the bruises on my axe very well and he knows his so I think we'll stick to what we have in terms of guitars. I don't care THAT much for cleans but I dislike the single coil-like attack of the 707 PLUS it has a very limited frequency range to my ears to - an AWESOME low end and gorgeous sustain, that's true, but not enough mids and sounds too sterile in general.
