This is my first time on the forum, although I've visited the site quite a few times. My name's Mike, and I reside in Canada. I have a buddy that posts here as well, but I'm not sure what his username is offhand. Darcy, if you see this, hey!
I don't currently own a 7-string, although I will be purchasing a Carvin 727 in the future. My musical influences range from metal (obvious stuff like Metallica, Sabbath to Cynic, Aghora, and everything in between) to fusion, pure jazz, rap, rock, whatever. My two favourite bands of all time though have to be Black Sabbath and Soundgarden. I wouldn't say they really have a huge influence on the stuff I write; they're just amazing, and I look up to them.
