I think the best thing to do with the voodu is to first, run through all the patches and find a good distortion that you like. Run through that with the edit function to see what all the parameters are set to, and then make your own based on those as a starting point. Tweak till satisfied and you have you're own sound. Then, write down all the settings somewhere! Repeat process for a good clean.
From there you can take either your distortion sound, or clean and make other ones based off those. Like say you have a dry clean...then make another clean with delay and reverb. Make a distortion with octive divider, and so forth, all based off of you're own sound.
Also, I found that it had a better sound when ran through my mesa single recto rather than the QSC power amp I had. The power amp/pre amp setup was pretty sterile.
Man, this makes me want to send mine in to Rocktron to have it fixed. It only worked for a very short time, and it had no warranty card in the box....it was a blem from the factory. FUCT.
