Hey.. You know how the lower grade guitars have apparently "Photo" quilt finishes... How difficult would that be to replicate? and how would I go about doing it (find a big fake image of quilted maple and print it out on sticky vinyl or something kinda like a decal and clear over it or something???) Because I am thinking of buying a neckthru blank and attempting to build my own guitar, but the main thing that concerns me is intonation and finishing, but if I get neckthru, It might be abit easier to adjust the intonation (no shims/pocket to worry about) so then its just the damn finish.. But really considering trying it right now
