Now that I have my OD situation sorted out, I'm just doing final tweaks. As happy as I am with the pickups in my guitar, I've said several times that the JB's not quite all the way "there' for me.

So I bought another one and I'm sending it to WolfeTone for a rewind into a Timbre Wolf variation. I thought about Bareknuckle, various DiMarzios, and Motor City, and I decided to go with Wolfe since I'd discussed having him make me a full pickup before.

This is how serious he takes it: He wants a description of what I want, a recording of my playing so he can "voice" it to my style, and my phone number so he can call and ask me questions while he's testing it.

Oh, and I can send it back to him to wind again if I don't like how it comes out.

Obviously, I'll be reviewing it when it gets back to me - probably not until after X-mas...
