My 5150 is fizzy, too. I've had it up to 3.5 before I get yelled at to turn it down, and the fizz is still there, just less apparent. Also, when the volume gets too high, the amp just sounds a bit harsh. I'm currently looking to trade my 5150 signature for a JSX.
