Well, the JM150 has V30's in it, and (I believe) this does as well.

The reason I wanted the JM150 was because my main rig is a 2101 and a Mesa 4x12. However, I wanted something small that I could bring around for jamming, as well as something that would fit in my car, but at the same time be close to "my" tone. Since the JM150 is the S-Disc (same as the 2101, albeit closer to the 2112), it made sense that I could at least get close to "my tone" in a combo amp, without lugging around this monstrosity:

I always wanted to separate the essential stuff in the rack (amp, preamp, tuner), but if I could get away with it in a combo, I figured why bother?

Since the combo, ehm, didn't really work out (heh), this is just the next best thing, and IMO I'm glad it worked out the way it did, because now I can take MY tone to the studio (after a little fiddling to adjust the 2101 to the new mono cab, etc).

Plus I can get another 2x12 and have a portable stereo rig, or run the two 2x12's left channel and my recto 4x12 on the right channel and maintain a big ol' stereo sound.
