Man, this one's easy. The Bernie Rico all the way, for me.

That being said, you can still play a 7 with 6-string players. You just have more range. If they play a standard A chord, you can play a low A (if you drop the B to A). Whatever. Lots of stuff like that. I've played my 7 with many 6-stringers, and I tune my 7 down to F! If many strings aren;t for you, why stop there? WHy not play a 5, or 4 string guitar? Do a Max Cavalera!

Not picking on you, I just never understood that argument. To me, more is better.
