ok, it's all done, and i decided to not go with foil. i'll wait until i can find some proper copper tape. but anyways...

HOLY FUCKING SHIT

i finished the guitar up last night, and only tested it to see that it worked for sure on a little 15w practice amp. today at band practice... man... that shit blew me away!

i think all those poor solder joints that i had in there before were seriously hampering my sound. i thought this guitar was dark, but as it turns out, it was just a shitty wiring job

. my skills have increased, and now my tone is vibrant, bright, and sharp! ...and not only that, all my switching works just the way i wanted it.

John, this neck-in-parallel thing sounds amazing! and Bob, i'm quite surprised that i do, in fact, really like both pickups together in parallel
