Have you tried out Reaper? Pretty cool program IMO, free to try with no limitations and it is cheap as hell if you want to buy it. It has a ton of features, highly customizable and pretty easy to use. I actually used it for free for about a year or so, then when v4 came out I dropped the cash on it, well worth it.
