Loserchief is a jewel in the rough
yeah, Vai picks definitely rock. They are my main picks for most more aggressive styles.
I had a quite similar experience when i first tryed them, i was just blown away by the feel.
The sharper tip gives them a very light feel of picking, since there's less pick actually touching the strings, so there's less friction to handle(at least when you only use the topmost amount of the pick like i do), plus they have great attack and nice balanced sound.
Great picks imo.
But be warned, if you have a heavy right hand and like diggin into the strings, you won't like them the longer tip of the pick will require you to keep that extra length from dragging on the strings. They are designed for a light right hand and suing only the tip of the pick.
