Well if he was using things like Neumann TLM 103s or similar for overheads and a Beyer MC930 on the snare alongside like a 57... in a treated room in a studio... I would have told him he's destroyed his overheads and his snare is not cracking like like I would expect it too because the attack on his snare compressor is too short... in that case it would be an average mix... not bad, but not "OMG OMG

With what he was using however he has done REALLY well. Did we know anything about his setup beforehand? Nope.
