Hey, this came up in another thread,
http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/new...ote=1&p=260803 and I was wondering, what bands would you pay $100 or more to see? Here are the rules:
The band must exist currently, and you can only see it in their current form. You can say a band where all/most of the members are still alive, but are not together (e.g., Pink Floyd). No historical bands (e.g. Roth-era Van Halen). Basically, if the band was to go on tour tomorrow, would you pay $100 to see them in their current form?
No opening act.
I could only think of two:
1. Tool
2. Radiohead
Tool and Radiohead are in the same category to me: the best in their genre, and most likely not going to exist anymore in the near future. I'd give pretty good odds that this is Tools last go-around, and Radiohead may have another album in them, but you never know.
Anyway, what are your bands that you would see?
