anyways. i do not go to walmart unless i have to. our ohio walmarts are full of the scummiest people you could imagine. every trash can in the store is always over filled and garbage is falling into the floor (other day someone put a shopping cart next to the can and everyone used it cuz the can was spilling into the floor). try a "higher class" retail store. i was a 3rd shift shelf stocker at kroger ( a large local grocery chain) eveyone was always nice,polite, and friendly. thats because all the assholes looking for the cheapest shit they can find are at walmart. the people that dont mind spending a little extra on their product for a nicer "shopping experience" are usually the ones that know how to act in public  |
see, thats weird.
before working for walmart, i worked at its competition just across the street. i only lasted there for about 3 weeks, and it wasn't due to the customers. the customers were nice and friendly and clean and civilized. the managers on the other hand were total tyrants and ruled with an iron fist. odd still that it was unionized.
then i come to walmart, and the managers are VERY nice. my pay is much better than what i'll get elsewhere at the moment. hours are great. other employees are nice. the store is clean. customer service is great. but the people are dicks. total walking distance from the first store to this: 7 minutes walk. price difference between the two: fairly competitive with a few cents here and there....does it justify customers being ass holes? not at all!
