I played one of those years ago when they came out. I remember the neck feeling kinda weird because of the semi-satin finish. It felt very grainy from the mahogany grain not being filled and it kept a sort of oily feel to it and I have bone dry hands. I seem to remember it sounding cool, but I was a really LP Fanboy at the time so I can't necessarily trust any judgment I may have made. I do remember the neck being pretty fat though.
