I was just about to suggest this. I was going to suggest A harmonic minor, as well. It's a very Yngwie/neo-classical sounding scale with the G# thrown in. You'll want to be conservative with the use of G#, but like I said, it's so Yngwie-sounding that you'll want to do that regardless.
That's probably the route I'd take. It seems to require the least thinking.
