I've heard it too but I have a hard time believing it as I've NEVER seen one on stage with a metal band. I've never tried an Orange myself but I have some kind of prejudice against them because everytime somebody asks the usual " what amp/cab 4 teh br00tal \MeTaL/?" some corksniffer dork kicks in with "teh Orange is teh pwn0Rz!!!"

That said, I'd like to try one to see what the hype is about
