Right now I'm concentrating on sweep picking (River Dragon solo and some arpeggios) and some more classical pieces that involve complex picking patterns for technique right now.

I'm also working on "Empty Words" on my own as well. Well even when I turned my gain from 3 to 7 I can't hear my tapping is still pretty quiet. I don't want to crank it to 11 and lose clarity. I tried pressing harder as well but I don't want to end up driving the notes sharp.

What's the trick to getting the notes to be fully anunciated?
