I'm not sure exactly what I'd choose. I was thinking maybe a Duncan Distortion with a Custom...or 2 Distortions, or Distortion Invader, etc. I was also thinking about some X2Ns or something, maybe an EVO. Of course the EMGs are always an option, but since the electronics in this guitar actually work vs. my V when I got it I'd like to try out some passives first.

I obviously haven't spent all that much time with them but the bridge is much less bassy than the neck and since I think they're the same pickup is kind of odd. It does bear some semblance to the 81 but it's definitely not as hot or ridiculously awesome \m/

I think they're fine but they squeal which is weird, it's especailly with the neck pickup.

That being said, I think red pickups would look absolutely awesome in this beast \m/ ... of course I'm going to try to get some stain for that light-ass fretboard, though :XD
