If you're going to fit EMG's and route for them then surely it would be a better idea to get the pickups first. That way you can get it spot-on.Better safe than sorry.
the guys in the shop are fitting the pickups free not me ,im going through 2 seperate guys one customizes and makes guitars the other is the music shop im getting the emgs from, i wonder if i take the pickups from thwe shop i ordered them from i can go down to the guitar custom guy and then go back to th shop i got the pups from and get em in??

and btw i wont be painting the cavity coz thatll cost me a load
