I've never been all that great at describing voicings of pickups. I've just always known what I've liked. So I don't think I can really give you a great description there, but they do sound great in mahogany. These Egnators were pulled out of my Washburn WM-7 (mahogany body and neck). They are a straight copy of the versions in the 6 strings.
The bridge has nice cut through, but the highs aren't too treble-y. More clear. I found it a great pickup to do leads with the bridge because it wasn't too ear piercing on the highs. The neck gets that really nice and smooth solo tone. Everything is pretty clear and defined with them too.
