A few tips for anyone thinking of going rack, buy all the rack gear first BEFORE you buy the rack itself!! That includes cabling, power supplies, transformers, shelves/drawers etc. That way you can work out exactly what size rack you need, 4U of rack gear could easily require a 6U or 8U rack case. I can also highly recommend George L's cables, the entire rig is wired with them. Well worth the high price, they also do skinny cable for rack/pedalboards and thicker, stronger cable for longer lengths.
