WTF?! Vox NT15H Night Train

Anybody familiar with this amp?

I just yesterday became VERY familair with this amp. I went to the local GC just to see what had or hadn't come in(havent been to any music shop in 2mos). Much as I suspected not a whole lot had changed...but there was this little beastie.

I cam across it on accident really. I was trying some of the small bed room rockers alot of you guys worship. Tried an Blackstar HT5...meh. Tried a Marshall Haze, that was pretty good but still...meh. Plugged into the NT15H...HOLY SHIT. I have played vox amps before and they all have a pretty good amount of gain. However, much of my experience was with the AC30. This amp is, according to their site, based on the AC15 circuit and the lower wattage really lends itself more conducive to higher gain(though not modern molten hot high gain) tones. The thing was super responsive, organically and harmonically complex, and just one bad ass mother of an amp. The only amp I have ever heard, besides its ACx brethren, is a boutique Black Cat Hot Cat.

This is definately an amp I am contemplating picking up in the nearest future, and at under 500 bucks it is a steal.

comment.

Thanks for your time
