I agree with Scott, it's a lot of hassle to change the bridge and you have to be certain you're putting it in the right place so you can intonate yur guitar correctly. If the baseplates are a different size the old holes might be visible too, which would mean you'd have to refinish the guitar to hide them, and that ain't cheap.
