so i have small hands and i own an agile intrepid 8 and i find that the neck doesnt have enough frets. im wondering what scale i should go with and how many frets my custom should have. originally i was thinking 30" scale and 31 frets but that seems a bit much . i also want to keep the low f some what tight. so can you luthiers point me in the right direction so i can do solos on an 8 string guitar without massive stretches.
