Well, the Spirit models come with the cheaper EMG Select pickups (the USA come with active EMGs). For mine, I swapped out the bridge humbucker for a
Carvin M22SD pickup & left the EMG Selects in the middle & neck positions. If you ever want a SCREAMIN' 6-string bridge pup, I highly recommend them. I came across it by accident. I went by my guitar tech's place to have the guitar set up. I told him that I had planned to change the pickups because they weren't hot enough for me. He happened to have a M22SD laying around in a clear box marked with the word "HOT!" We stuck it in & man, the fuckin' guitar started breathing fire! Overall, it's just a badass little pickup.
