If you are worried about the thickness of the neck, heres my 2 cents: After playing RG7s for years, going to Hellraiser was really no big deal to me. Maybe I have to work a little harder but it feels better when you can realy dig in. What I do notice is going back to Ibanez neck, the RG feels so skinny and easy to play, almost too easy sort of. Its weird but I dont feel like Im playing a pig when I go back to the HR. Never payed a loomis tho so no comment on that...
