Mmm... Drop A is fun! ^_^

After being completely engrossed in my new J Custom for the past while, I thought it was time I whipped out a 7 again and started putting out some aural pain.

So out comes my Stealth 7, which seems to be changing tunings as often as I changed my underpants, often going from B to Bb to A whenever I feel like it, the odd time a number of times a day. I never went for drop tunings before, but I had been playing around a lot with drop D after I started learning some Opeth songs that were tuned that way. When I whipped out my Stealth, I thought, hey why not try drop A?

Christ it sounds immense! Being able to go from nice open chords straight to some insanely heavy powerchords. Opeth's The Grand Conjuration transposed to A is a real treat for the ears, I can tell you!
