My brother had the dye... he does leatherworking stuff. You can get the dye from a leather store, or maybe even a boot store. I'd have used the Fiebings, but he only had brown, not black.
I'm doing my RR1 tomorrow, but it's got an ebony board, so there's no need to dye it. But after that, I've got the RG7621, an MF-207, and that new RR-7 to try it out on. When I've perfected the technique, I'll do it to my RG2127X (But since that's my babied guitar, I'd better not screw it up!)
