Of course, while I have yet to fully form my disquisition, you can see where I'm going with this.

In all seriousness, yes we know you hate basswood, you parade the fact at every possible opportunity, every time you lay eyes on a photograph of a guitar that is made of basswood, there's no need to go making threads devoted to it.
