Recent Demos

Alright, so I thought I'd share a few recent demos of mine that are kinda in-progress.

The first one's been posted before, but I changed the lyrics/vocals and I'm hoping to get real drums on it sometime soon-ish and re-do the rough vocal takes I have on there.

Silence

These next two are mellower things I came up with a while back. I'm pretty sure they were both written on my drummer's acoustic, but recorded electric.

Demo #1
Demo #2

This last one I just recorded today and I plan on finishing soon. There's a little Devin Townsend in there for sure, and a little Meshuggah. It starts in 4/4, goes to 6/8, and has a few 5/8 bars. Still tweaking the heavy tones on this one as they're a little boomy right now. I'm hoping to expand this into a full song, eventually recording drums (I know a guy who can probably come up with something interesting for this), bass and maybe vocals. (I've also noticed that the more I hang out here, the more metal I become I'm playing more metal these days than ever before )

Metal Demo

So, let me know what you think. They're all works in progress so far so they're a little rough, but they're a better example of the tones I've been using lately (I've got a great modern Hetfield tone on a couple of layers in the "metal demo" buried under four more layers of other sounds ).
