also, too much treble before the distortion. back it off just a wee bit, and it should sound alot closer.
not bad at all though, it´s a hard type of tone to get right. it´s way too easy to make it harsh or boomy or shrill or whatever. it´s all about balance :P

it does sound filtered. and unfortunately i did a tone test for Kalevala to hear the difference between the tone w/ and w/out the eureka and found there was seriously little to NO difference

i guess it really is all about the post production w/ the POD! hey, at least i'll get my $600 back for some studio monitors hahaha. i just have to keep working at my mixes. i'm working on a patch/tone for my band for when i record us, so hopefully these trial and errors w/ the eureka, post production and bulb tone attempts will help with that! gonna try using the "5150" amp sim.
Plankis- yes, if i get a chance i will do that, but i don't want to spend too much time on a bulb cover, i got a sweet little jam i'm workin on w/ some gnarly riffs my guitarist and i came up with, but if i get the time i will do that.
PLANKIS, here ya go dude. so this is the exact same mix from the Blood+PODX3 test, i already can tell it's a fuller brighter mix, but that's because i didn't mix down the ZyglROCKER hahaha, i just posted it for the "Bulb tone" purposes...it really wasn't a mix post, but oh well. i'll fix it and update it on soundclick. so here is the bulb snippet with the bloodPODX3 mix u wanted.
