| The Devin Townsend-approved Open C is another great one on the acoustic, and is a little less common than D, G and DADGAD, so it's easier to break out of cliches with. Open minor tunings are ridiculously underrated as well...I occasionally play in Open G Minor, but for some reason all the music that comes out of me in the tuning is so depressing, I don't really make a habit of it.
