It is my opinion, I probably should have made that clearer. I just don't like screaming vocals, I guess.
There are sometimes when a scream or grunt adds to the song. Like... The Glass Prison, by Dream Theater. There's that part where the riff comes in and alternating clean(ish) and artificially low vocal lines come in. That was
kinda cool, but a whole song of it makes it just hard to understand and sounds lame to me
And I could even see the guitarists fingers in that video, they looked like they were playing something that might be cool (or even just technical) but I couldn't hear anything besides a wall of noise.
