I run mine with the master volume up at 5 and then I dial in the channel volume, to me mine sounds thicker this way.
engaging the loop also thickens the sound up as well (I don't know why but it does).
also turn the onboard noise gate no higher than 5-8 as that is one of the controls on this amp that can add a "nasally" tone to the sounds.
experiment with th mid control anywhere between 4-7, it drastically changes the tone of the amp, It really opens up at around 6 or so. |
It consequently doesn't like Blackouts either, which is what I am currently struggling with.
I have a choice to make; either the JSX goes or the ATX goes, because they just do not sound good together.
