Yeah. I disabled pretty much all of the flashy shiny features and the annoying user account control, but I couldn't disable the 3D scrolling in the window manager, but I never use it and I seem to have plenty of RAM free for whatever I want to do (disabling everything flashy I could probably helped).

Drivers are different between the 32 bit version and the 64 bit version?
