Well they got Rick Rubin for this one , and if theres one thing Rubin can do (besides looks completely out of place hanging around with rappers) is polish a fine turd.
..And what a turd he has been given this round. A turd which crawled into the nostrils of every boy in girl who inhabited the house that Black Sabbath built ...just to say whos running shit now. But then as the hair in everyones nostrils (aswell as the hairs on certain peoples heads) fell out , the smell became no longer glorious , but ruined of what it once was. Not that Bob Rock and his constant use of javex in the bathroom didn't fuck up the royal brand they had going for them. (you know , the bleachy turds like load/re-load)
