Have you tried using some free online virus scanners when you're able to hookup? I'm fairly uptight about my internet security and the free online scanners turned up a few things that all of my different antivirus and spyware scanners did not. Also try a program called Trojan Remover which has a free trial. Make sure all of your browser caches have been cleared including temporary java files. And my experience with Dlink makes me cringe at the words "XP USB wireless".
