FWIW, even if youre not into basswood, the maple walnut neck through with basswood wings is super, i had an RGT42 with that combo, and even our old guitarist, a prs nut, who made noodles sound like he slept with basswood every night thought it sounded awesome. The neck through with maple really livened up the basswood
