Mine are the AHB-1s, the AHB-2s weren't available when I bought my Blackouts. The wiring was really easy because my guitar was already wired for them

they have a 3 pin connector on the bottom that is the same as the one EMG uses, so the swap took me all of ten minutes.
I don't wire my own guitars, usually if I am changing pickups, I get a full setup at the same time so I just let this guy I've been going to for awhile now do the work.
The neck pickup has a totally different sound than the bridge. I'd say it sounds like a mix between an EMG 60 and a 85 - for riffing, it does have less gain, and then for solos, it has a fantastic really warm and smooth sound and the notes just leap out of the amp. Sweeps sound gorgeous with the neck pup.
