All of this is just proof that when the southern states seceded all those years ago, we should have just let them go. Set up trade agreements, allow people to move freely between the countries, make it easy for the citizen of one to become the citizen of another instead, but just let them go. Just imagine: we would have never had to deal with Texas presidents and fundamentlist nut jobs. Of course, I would have moved out of Virginia just as soon as I was old enough.
