| I didn't replace them, I think the stock pickups are excellent. In fact, I only replaced the stock pickups in my RG570CT after one of them died... but I ended up taking out the DiMarzio's again and making it stock, because I actually preferred the stock pickups in that guitar.
If you want that EMG-sound, then yes, you'll need to replace them, because no passive pickup will give you that sound... But other than that I think the stock pickups are fine quality and they are well-matched for the guitar, giving a good range of tones. |
