Engl XXls are just bigger than the regular ones,no difference in quality of build.
Engl cabs seem to be alittle tighter and a little more highend orientated than orange cabs. Both sound great but it depends on what you want. I don't really have experience with the 2x12s since i've only used the 4x12s of both companies.
